Martika con K
Martika is a vibrant artist and "Ambassador of Happiness" from the Dominican Republic, known for her melodious voice and captivating presence. She performs globally, from Washington, D.C. to Morocco, showcasing her homeland's musical heritage, including her latest bachata single. As a mistress of ceremonies, her charisma transforms events into memorable celebrations. Martika hosts the segment “Así se vivió con Martika con K” on Tu Guía by Telemundo 44, highlighting Latin traditions and fostering community connections. Soon, she will represent Dominican culture in Rome, emphasizing that art and creativity can inspire and unite people across the world.
Salsa Guy
Angel Alberto Rodríguez Serrano, known as The Salsa Guy, is a dedicated dance instructor and performer who shares the joy of Latin dance. With extensive experience in teaching vibrant Latin American folk dances, he creates personalized experiences that also serve as cultural bridges. Fluent in English and Spanish, Angel fosters an inclusive environment for students of all backgrounds, emphasizing the appreciation of Latin dance traditions.
At the Fiesta del Sol Festival, The Salsa Guy Richmond will offer free Salsa, Cumbia, and Merengue classes, encouraging participation from both beginners and experienced dancers. Angel believes dance transcends cultural boundaries and creates meaningful connections.
DC DJ Leo
Leopoldo Gonzalez, best known as DJ Leo, is a seasoned DJ and entertainment specialist with over two decades of experience in the music and nightlife industry. His expertise spans live performances, event production, and radio broadcasting, making him a dynamic force in the Washington, D.C., and South Florida entertainment scenes.
Leo, La Voz
Leonardo Silva, known as Leo "La Voz," discovered his passion for communication at 15, thanks to mentor Juan Carlos Tejeda in Lima, Peru. His talent shone during a live radio interview, leading to roles as a Master of Ceremonies and Artistic Presenter, and eventually as Artistic Representative for the youth group "Impacto." After moving to the United States, he worked with XM Radio and represented various musical artists. Currently, Leo is focused on advancing his career in voice-over, aiming to dedicate himself fully to this craft.
